Chapter 1, Killers in the forest

I was frozen, the wind blowing through my hair. It was cold outside, but I somehow felt warm inside. Running from school was fun, especially with friends. “Faith, where now?” I could hear Ace calling from behind me. His black and blue hair blowing with the wind. I looked around, we were in the middle of the woods with a few supplies. “I’m not sure, maybe we could look for an abandoned house or something”. As we walked around the forest, I felt a sudden tingle down my spine. It’s as if someone was following us.

I turned around. Something was pinning Ace down! It had white skin and black hair, they had a knife in their hand… I couldn’t help but scream. “AAAAAAAAA!” The thing turned around. I think it was a boy. I could see Ace sitting up , he was cut deeply but still holding on. The strange man pounced towards me. I tried to run but he grabbed my collar. “Get off of me you brute!” He threw me to the ground, pinning me down with his foot. “Heh, says the broken barbie doll”. I’d been called many things from asshole to yeti, but broken barbie doll!? This freak had crossed the line.

I pushed his leg… and it stayed in it’s place. This strange man was stronger than he looked. All I could do was lie there and struggle. He raised his knife, “It’s time to go to sleep”, and brought it back down. Blood came spilling out of, like a waterfall of red liquids. I could feel the metallic taste in my mouth, spilling out like Niagra itself. “Jeff, what the fuck are you doing!?” I knew that voice from somewhere, but where..? The blade was removed from me and I sat up. “Where the fuck do I know you you from?” The girl looked at me in shock. Was I forgetting something important? “Faith… did you seriously forget?” Now I’m remembering something. “Aren’t you… Kathrin? That girl from school… everyone says you’ve been murdered…” My words began to slur as my vision began to fade. “Faith… Faith wake up!”

I woke up, startled by what happened. “I’m glad you’re finally wake, thought we’d lost you”, I saw Ace, his chest bandaged up from the cut. I heard footsteps running clumsily up the stairs. I looked at the door, almost expecting an elephant to burst into the room. “She’s awake, she’s alive, this isn’t a joke, right”. I saw Kat ( that’s my nickname for her) peek her head in through the door. Her face looked like a fucking tomato, almost as if she was caught doing something she shouldn’t have done. “No she’s dead, of course she’s alive”, Ace said, a tone rising in his voice. Kat started giggling, what was she up to now? “What, do you have a crush on her now?” Both me and Ace went red in the face.

“Who’s the tomato now mother fuckers!” She ran off, laughing to herself. Ace ran after her, swearing under his breath. I sat up, a little dazed but feeling alright. Then I saw him… Jeff. He walked into the room and leaned on the wall. “Listen kiddo, er, sorry about what happened earlier… umm… glad you’re alive”. He was trying to apologize… in a very strange way. But, it’s not all bad, at least he said sorry. “I-It’s fine, I guess I’m sorry for calling you a brute”. Jeff looked up from the floor, he had cuts on his face as if they were a smile.

“Umm… how’d you get those”. I pointed at the scars. He brushed his fingers over them, a smile on his face. “If you really want to know… I did them myself, quite painful but… you get used to it”. I stared at him as if he was insane. How could someone get used to or even like pain!? It was a bit akward, just silence surrounded the room. I heard a voice call out, “Jeff, get you’re psycho ass over here!” I could hear a sort of glitchy voice coming from down the hall way. Jeff didn’t move, he started smiling. “Jeff, I said, get you’re fucking ass over here!” There it was again, Jeff started to laugh. I could hear angry footsteps.

I sat up straight and looked at the person in the doorway. “Fucking Link, why aren’t you in Zelda!” He looked at me, face going red. I couldn’t tell if he was embarrassed or angry. He turned to look at Jeff, his face wasn’t red anymore. “Jeff… what the fuck,” He started, then started smiling, “I’ve been calling you just to find you flirting with a girl”. He wiggled his eyebrows. I went red in the face, I couldn’t help it. This is one strange group of people.

Chapter 2, Deals?

It’s been a week since the incident. Being here was… pretty fun. Kat told me about everyone here and what had happened to her when she’d been staying here. In all honesty, it sounded quite scary. I’m getting along with the others and luckily, Jeff hasn’t stabbed me again (thank the lord). Living here is nice. I’ve found out that no, Link from LOZ doesn’t live here. Instead, his name is ben and before he died he used to love playing Majora’s mask. I don’t know why but… I think I’m becoming friends with Jeff. If I’m going to be honest, it feels nice to know I might have friends here.

As I walk through the dark, dense forest, I hear a rustling coming from the trees. I kept walking, it was probably just an animal. The noises kept following me. “Boo!” I heard a noise from behind me, something pounced on top of me and we both ended up on the ground. I shut my eyes tightly, my breath rapid, whoever this was they were pinning me down, by my tail as well as my arms. “Jeez… no need to be so scared, it’s just me”. I opened one eye. My face was as red as a fucking tomato. “Jeff… get off my tail”. A smile spread across his face, what was he thinking now? “And what if I said no?” I tried to push him off but he was too strong.

Jeff eventually let go of me. I sat up, tucking my tail behind me. I just need to pray to god that he didn’t get me into heat. I sat up and backed away, I know he didn’t kill me but he still scared the shit out of me. “Jeff,” I started, knowing I would regret the for the rest of my life, “Do you know what happens when you touch a girls tail?” He shook his head, I looked behind me, my tail was shaking a lot. Why would I be happy about this? I stood up and brushed the dirt off my jeans. “I-I should be heading back, it was nice talking”. I ran off into the forest. As soon as I got to the slender mansion, I climbed up to the roof and sat down. The sky was filled with the moonlight, stars beaming down at you.

I lay down, staring up at the sky. It had been so long since I’d seen the night sky. I heard footsteps walking behind me. Strange… Kat’s usually asleep by now. I felt a tug at my hair, probably Jeff again. “Listen, we need to talk.” It was Ben, what’s he doing up here? “You should stay away from Jeff, ever since he’s been with us he’s getting more and more psychotic, even Slendy’s warning everyone.” I sat up, looking him in the eye. He looked pretty scared, in his hand was a small envelope. “Take this, if he ever attacks, use it, ok” I was scared, but took the envelope. “But… what if I don’t want to hurt him?”/ “You have to use it, trust me, it’s for the greater good.” His words were scaring me. I spoke up, “Deal”.

I went into my room. Slipping under the covers, I thought about what Ben had said. His words kept repeating in my mind. But… what did he mean by ‘more psychotic’? Jeff’s not that bad, a little misunderstanding but stil, he’s… nice, kind almost. An hour had past and I still couldn’t get to sleep. I decided to wander around, I was getting bored anyway. I slowly climbed out of bed, slipping on my shoes, I climbed out of the window. I jumped down, luckily it wasn’t that high.

The surrounding area was filled with trees reaching for the clouds. I climbed up a tall redwood, hoping to get a good view. I emerged through the canopy, the sky was lit up by a galaxy, filled with blues and browns and many other shiny colors. I heard rustling from behind me. I sat up, but slipped and fell. All I can do is cry for help while falling, falling, falling. I looked up at the sky, now covered by leaves and branches. I could hear shouting from below, but they were probably just voices inside my head. I landed, someone wrapped there arms around me, as if I were a baby, I had been caught.

“Th-thanks… I-I thought I was going to die”. I looked up, Jeff was staring back down at me. “Hey, no problem”, I smiled at him, for once in my life, I felt perfectly safe. Even though I was in the arms of a serial killer. We walked back, my shirt was torn and covered in blood. Jeff had also noticed, since he had taken of his jumper and handed it to me. “Err… thanks, I guess”, I said, while slipping the jumper on. It was big and warm, I snuggled into it, almost trying to hide from the world.

Chapter 3, New powers

As we entered the Slender mansion, I began to realise how quiet it was. I looked around, it seemed almost abandoned. “Everyone’s probably out filling their quota”, I heard Jeff from behind me. I returned his jumper, even though it meant leaving the comfortable abyss. Walking to my room, I wondered what Jeff meant by ‘quota’. When I got to my room, I ripped off my shirt. “Welp, this is of no use”. I whispered, chucking it in the trash. I didn’t have any spares, so I put my jumper over my bra and went out.

Walking around the mansion, I could see a lot of colored doors. As I walked past many others, I couldn’t help but notice some sort of music coming from one. The door was a dark green, with glitches painted onto it. I opened the door and froze. “What . The . Actual . Fuck.” I saw Ben on his bed, the room was filled with glowing dark matter, green glitches surrounded him. Ben was just casually playing on his DS, it’s as if he didn’t notice that his room is literally surrounded by dark matter. He looked up from his game and dropped his device. “S-s-sorry, I-I didn’t realise, I should’ve knocked”, I stumbled on my words. God, I sounded like a moron. Ben turned of his game, and the walls came back.

“So… you wanna come in or what?” he asked, patting next to him. I cautiously stepped in, I was scared the ground would wallow me up if I wasn’t careful, but it didn’t. I sat down and we actually had a nice conversation. “So, how did you create those glitchy things, I’m curious?” / “What, this?” He held out his palm and out came the same glitches that were in the room earlier. “I guess I was given this power when I died.” Hold up, did he say died. He doesn’t look dead to me. I stared at him, confused and shocked. “Yeah, I ended up drowning because a few idiots from my school thought it would be funny to tie heavy metal cubes to me and chuck me off of a cliff into open ocean.”

I felt bad for him, drowning is probably one of the most scariest ways to die. After a few minutes I went back to my room. On my bed I saw a midnight black T-shirt and a note. The note said ‘Hey, thought you might need this, dunno if it’ll fit you -Jeff’. I took off my hoodie and slipped into the shirt, it was a bit big, but it fit none the less. I sat down, pondering on what to do next. It had been a while since I’d seen Ace, I wonder if he’s alright. I picked up my phone and tried to call him. “Hello, who is it?” I could hear Ace’s voice, he sounded tired and out of breath. “Hey Ace,it’s me, Faith, how’s life?” There was a moment of silence. “Faith, listen, I’ve run away from the mansion, I’ve left you some stuff in your bag. I’m sick of their shit”, said Ace, a hint of hatred in his voice. I ended the call, I was so pissed of at him but… sad at the same time. I curled up into a ball, hiding my face in shame. How could he just abandon me without any warning?

My head was spinning, my breathing was heavy, I felt nauseous. I lay down on the bed, trying to cloud my mind from the truth, but truth was the cloud, hiding my happy memories. I hugged my tail, I knew it’d get me into heat but I didn’t care. It was getting hotter and hotter, I didn’t care though. All I needed to do was get myself into heat without moaning. Then I’d only be able to concentrate on the pain. The temptation was unbearable, I couldn’t, I shouldn’t… I wouldn’t. My body heat was starting to cool down, I’ve done it. Pain shot through me like a bullet in the heart. Silent tears came rolling down.

I could hear footsteps coming towards me. I kept looking at the window, hoping the ground would swallow me up. Someone sat down on the bed and nudged my shoulder. I whimpered, this wasn’t helping at all. “Hey, get up”, I could hear Jeff whisper into my ear. I looked at him, trying to hide the pain. But even if I had worn a mask, he could still see through my disguise. “What’s up, something bothering you?” I sat up, I couldn’t tell him what happened, not now. “Umm… girly stuff, you wouldn’t understand” / “Faith, I had a mother, and I live with girls, don’t give me that bullshit”.

I had to tell him, even though I would regret this for the rest of my life. “I-I’m in heat…” Jeff just looked at me as if to say ‘what’s that’. “It’s something that girls like me and Kat can get since we’re animal hybrids, I told you, you wouldn’t understand.” / “Maybe if you explain what it is I would understand”. I heard footsteps coming from the hallway. Kat came in through the door, grabbed my arm and practically dragged me out of my room. We went to the rooftop. “Faith, why are you in heat?”

Chapter 4, Consequences

After talking for a while (and getting hit in the back of the head by Kat) we came back down. Me and Kat ended up going to town to get breakfast. “Ok, if you want we could go to the pharmacy and get the medicine instead of, you know… getting someone to fuck you”. / “No no no, I’ve dealt with heat before, I can just wait it out”. / “Are you insane, no way”. I took a sip of my hot chocolate. The hot liquid burned my throat but it felt nice at the same time. “Listen Kat, I’ll be fine, I can’t die from heat and only hybrids like you or me can sense it, no one else will know”. / “Apart from Jeff”. I almost choked on my drink, why’d she mention that. I heard screams from downstairs. “And… there you go”. Kat smiled, nibbling on her muffin.

We got back to the Slender Mansion. “Jeff! What the hell were you thinking! You could have got caught!” He smirked as Kat ran ahead to join Masky and Hoodie. “What, do you care about me”. / “Yes, a lot!” I bit my tounge, I did not just say that out loud. “Shit… y-you heard nothing!” I paced ahead just to get caught. Jeff had grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards him. He wrapped his arms around me, and all I could do was stand there and cry. He bent down and wiped the tears from my face. “Hey, don’t cry, there’s nothing to be ashamed of”, I wiped the rest of my tears away and we carried on walking home.

When we emerged from the forest, we could see snow all around us. I grabbed a handful and formed it into a snowball. I snuck up behind Jeff and chucked it at him. “Head-shot!” I yelled, as the snowball collided with his head, leaving traces of snow in his pitch-black hair. “Hey, what the-” I ran ahead of him, trying not to get hit. Jeff eventually caught up with me. He ruffled my hair, turning it into a bit of a mess. I went into my room, nervous about what would happen next. Everything that had happened today seemed so out of the ordinary. I looked around, the room hadn’t been fully emptied out from it’s previous owner. I walked up to a filing cabinet and opened the top drawer. There were tonnes and tonnes of sketches, of everything imaginable. I took out the whole drawer and almost toppled over because of it’s weight.

I took out every single drawer and emptied their contents onto the floor. When I tipped out the last one I froze, because there, hiding inside was a file… with my name on the front. I flicked through the file, everything inside of it was to do with me. There were my details, home address, age, date of birth, everything to do with me. “What the actual fuck…” I looked down at a disturbingly detailed fact file, who in their right mind would stalk me since the day I was born. I dropped the file and backed away slowly. My head was pounding, my breath was heavy. Everything was getting blurry, pain, shooting through every part of me. The heat was taking it’s toll on me. I backed up against the wall and fell. I sat up, leaning against the wall. I was dazed, I could barely move. I blacked out.

I woke up, feeling woozy. I looked around, starting to panic. What happened to me? Where am I? Have I been kidnapped? Looking up, I saw my hands chained to a wall, the same when I looked down, but instead it was my feet. I tried to scream but duct tape covered my mouth. I had a restraint on my tail, it was painful but it felt so good. I was moaning, squeeling in delight. I couldn’t help it. This is what happens when you touch a girls tail, they get horny as fuck! It was becoming almost too much. I started screaming, I didn’t like this anymore. I wanted to get out of here. I wanted to be free.

As my vision started to go red I looked down. My head hung low, tears rolling from my eyes. I heard footsteps, someone lifted my head by my chin. “Looks like you’ve calmed down child, I’ll let you out”. I felt the chains being undone. I fell to the ground, unable to move from the pain I went through. I felt a needle pierce my skin, strange fluids, seeping into my veins. My vision went back to normal, and I felt my strength returning. I looked up…

Chapter 5, Strangers

“W-Who are you?”. My vision had gotten better but I think my eyes were decieving me. The man had no face. I rubbed my eyes, trying to get a better view of him, but every time I did he always had no face. “Do not be afraid child, this was just a test, but this is not the end”. I propped myself up against the wall and slowly but steadily, tried to stand up. “W-what do you mean not the end” / “Exactly what I said, just because I did one test doesn’t mean it’s the end… I meant the end of tests”.

I was scared. Why would someone test me, stalk me, watch me since the beginning of my time… just for fun. I stood up completely, leaving the room, I looked back. The man was staring at me, I couldn’t tell what emotions he was having, but I knew it wouldn’t be any good. While walking down the corridor, I could faintly hear people… talking? I could make out a few words. “Ev… s-stop…” / “Come on Mal, this is fun”. There were a few other… noises. I placed my ear against the door and listened in, but the door wasn’t fully closed. I fell forwards, face flat on the floor.

“What the fuck!” I yelled, looking at the two girls in the room. They were on the bed, both red as fuck. “I won’t ask…” I said scrambling out of the room, fully closing the door. ‘I have to get out of here… but how’ I thought. I looked around, Jeff’s door was open. I peeked inside to find the room empty. I walked in, trying my best to stay quiet, but I couldn’t help but notice the closet door wide open. I walk over, but fully regret that. “Shit! Sorry!” I backed away, trying not to look. Thanks to my bad luck I ran into him getting changed.

Walking backwards isn’t as easy as you think, I ended up backing into a wall. Jeff walked up to me, with a shirt on (thank god). He lifted my head up. “You know, you’re not as bad as I thought.” I shut my eyes, this was gonna be the end of me… right? WRONG! I felt something on my lips. My eyes shot open and… holy shit, I thought I was going to die. We were kissing! Bloody hell, that was quite a shock. I’m not ashamed to say I liked it, it felt… nice. His hand came up to my face, going through my hair. That went on for a bit, but in the end… it was nice. “Still sorry…” Whispered Jeff, keeping me pinned against the wall.

“Should I be?” I said, pushing my tail between us. He grabbed it and pulled me closer, and then… “Jeff you lazy fuck, you said you were gonna walk Smile!” I saw Jane in the doorway, she just stared at the situation she’d walked into. “Umm… I’ll leave you to it…” She walked of, muttering something around the words of ‘fuck my life’. Me and Jeff looked at each other… and laughed. “Well… I should get going… see you later Faith”. / “Yeah… bye”. He went off, calling Smile. I went to my room, smiling to myself. As I walked in I couldn’t help but notice a small note on my bed. I picked it up, it said ‘Hey Faith, sorry for running off like that, wanna meet up at town tomorrow. -Ace’. I looked around, there was no trace of him being here. I couldn’t stop the tears coming out.

The sun was shining over the wet, misty grass. I walked through the field, town was just ahead. I buried my ace into my scarf, it felt warm and fluffy against my freezing cold face. Walking through town made me feel happy, safe again. Walking through town, I could see Ace, his hair tied in a messy bun. He waved me over, his smile broadened. “Hey, there you are”. I said, running up to him. We walked around town, talking about life and other stuff. We turned down an alley way, I was getting a bit scared. Suddenly, Ace pinned me to a wall, and kissed me. I tried to push him away, I didn’t like this. He kept going, it felt rough and unstable, his hand found it’s way up my shirt, rubbing against my ribs. I moaned quietly, still trying to get free. I kept struggling, but he kept his grip. “Ace, stop… I don’t like this” I tried to catch my breath, but he pushed me to the ground.

Ace… w-what are you…” I was stopped, he just kept going and going. His kiss was like poison, I thought it would kill me. His hands went to work on my jeans, I screamed for help, but he covered my mouth. I could feel his cold hands on my legs, I bit back my words, struggling to escape his grip. I shut my eyes. Then I heard it,“Go to sleep!”

Chapter 6, Strange encounters

I didn’t move, but I couldn’t feel Ace on me anymore. I opened my eyes, sitting up abruptly. I saw a boy in a white hoodie, now stained in blood. He wore black trousers and trainers. Beside him sat a dog, with a big ass smile. He threw his jumper at me, not even bothering to look at me. I stood up, buttoning up my jeans. I gave him back the jumper. “Why… is love just a game to you?” I could recognize that raspy tone anywhere. “Jeff!? I-it’s not what it looks like”. But he was already gone. I ran back to the mansion, my clothes and skin getting torn by all the branches. But I had to get back. I could feel a branch cut open my cheek, blood trickling out. I stopped, holding my stomach. I threw up, the taste of blood filling my mouth, I… couldn’t… go… on. But I… had to… try. I ran, holding my stomach. I kept running, even when blood spewed from my mouth, even when my limbs begged me to stop.

The last thing I could remember was getting to Slender mansion. My clothes were torn apart and covered in blood, My skin was covered in cuts and scratches. That’s when I passed out. I woke up, my head pounding, my body aching all over. I sat up, rubbing my forehead. What happened to me? “You awake now?” I looked around, and saw Jeff standing in the doorway. I could feel tears prickle in my eyes. He walked up to me, knife in hand. “P-Please, don’t…” I closed my eyes again, waiting to feel the blade cut through my skin. I heard the clattering of metal, I could feel his hand going through my hair. I winced as he tugged a strand, but that was all part of the act. I opened my eyes, still stinging with tears. Why would I, when there’s still so much to learn”. His voice seemed almost sweet.

“Oh yeah, Ben told me to give you this”, he handed me a black envelope, I froze. I carefully took it from his hand and opened it. There, glowing a faint blue, was a syringe… and a note. It said ‘Don’t forget our deal. -Ben. P.S, hope you get better’. “What deal is he talking about Faith?” / “Oh that… it’s nothing really”. I need to make something up, I can’t let Jeff find out. “It’s just a dare thing, nothing too bad” / “Then why’d Ben give you a syringe?” Crap, he’s good at this. But I can do better. “The syringe has heat treatment, so in case I go into heat again, I can use this, that’s why he added the P.S”. I think I have him fooled now.

It’s been three days since that happened, and so far, Ben’s been acting very strange. He’s almost never at the mansion, and when he is he never talks to anyone. Well today, I’m going to talk to that bastard. I stride over to his room and freeze. He’s in there alright… but he’s not alone. I peek through a crack in the door, he’s sitting at the end of his bed… talking to someone. He looks… happy. But he’s almost never happy here, he told me that himself. I quickly write a note and slip it through the door. Slowly, I back away, watching the door. It opens slightly, and I run for the hills. Then… “EEK!” I scream, bumping into Lui. “Watch where you’re going, you fucking moron!” I back away, trying to stay out of his way.

He gets down to the floor and pins me in place. I try to escape, but he’s just as strong as his brother. “Lui… g-get off”. He got closer and closer, I went as far back as I could go, worry in my eyes. He puts his finger on my lips, shushing me. “Everyone else is out, no one will see this”. / “Ben’s here though…” / “I’m sure he won’t tell”. I shut my eyes, praying he won’t do anything stupid. I could hear laughing, and… a scream? I open my eyes, to see Lui and Ben laughing their asses off, and a girl. She looked around thirteen. “Ben, what the fuck!” She said, helping me up. “You never told me about there being other animal hybrids”. / “Sorry, I’ll make sure to remember next time”. I looked down, wow… she’s just as short as Ben, maybe a bit shorter. “Ben… you never told us you had a girlfriend”. I said, wiggling my eyebrows. Both Ben and the girl went red as a fucking tomato. God, revenge feels so good. “I’m sorry Faith, but Clarity isn’t my girlfriend”. He put his hand on her shoulder. “Not yet…” whispered Lui, quite loudly.

Clarity (the girl) kicked his shins, laughing. “I’m sorry, but me and Ben are just friends, nothing more and nothing less.” I smiled, now thinking of new ways to prank them.

Their lies, Her revenge (7)

Chapter 7, Secrets

I lay awake that night, I didn’t know what would happen next. First Jeff, then Ace, and now possibly Lui. What the fuck’s going on? I had to get out of here, and fast. I packed my bag, leaving the shirt Jeff gave me on my… no, I should say the bed. I wrote a small(ish) note pinned to the wall. Sneaking through the lounge, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt. Why should I run away? I shook my head, ‘no, stop feeling guilty about this, you’re doing this for the greater good’.

I open the door, wind blowing on my face. I quickley closed the door behind me, and ran. Once again, there was a whole lot of scratches and cutting, but I didn’t care. Freedom is all I ask for, and freedom is what I got. I outstretch my arms, no matter how many cuts I get, I’ll always feel safe in the dark. I’m done with their bullshit, their creepyness, their lies. I’m so fucking done with them. Suddenly… “Where do you think you’re going child?” I felt a cold tentacle wrap around my middle section, gripping on tightly. Welp… I’ve been caught by a maniac. “Umm… on a walk”, I say, slowly pulling out a knife, “Away from… ALL YOU FREAKS!” I snapped, slicing the tentacle off of my torso.

I ran, making sure I wouldn’t get caught. I could hear a voice call out “Get her!” I’m a fugitive now. I ran until I reached the end of the forest. Looking back, I saw what looked like an army of freaks. I stepped into the clear, moonlight shining down on me. I started to run again, adrenaline rushing through me. This was the thrill of the hunt, exept I’m the one being hunted. I could hear footsteps beind me, shouts and remarks of how they’ll kill me. But I kept running, even when my limbs begged me to stop, even when my scars opened into fresh wounds. But no matter how much blood came out, I wouldn’t stop until the very end.

I ended up running into town, it was so… empty. I ran into a shop, abandoned and quiet. They’d never find me in here. I could hear the door creak open, footsteps scurrying across the shop. I hid in a closet, shrinking into the darkest corner. I waited for someone to open the door, to finally find and kill me. The door swung open, I hid my head in my laps, rocking back and forth. “You know… I would kill you… but I can’t be bothered”. I looked up, I saw Jeff looking down at me, gripping his knife tightly. “Just, don’t leave that spot until the next day, ok”.

I wanted to hug him, seeing him made me want to go back, but… I knew I couldn’t. I nodded, keeping back the tears. Jeff closed the door, I heard voices outside. All I could do was curl up in a ball and cry. I wanted to leave, but I didn’t want to leave him behind. I ignored his orders and walked out. I saw Jeff, Lui, Jane and Slendy. I shouted “Go on, kill me, but that won’t make you any better than I am!” Jeff facepalmed, Lui went straight at me, gun ready to fire. I didn’t move, I heard two shots ring past me. Then… BANG! A shot went out, going right through my hand. I winced, pulling my hand towards me. I tried to make it heal, licking the blood away. He backed me up to a wall, pointing the pistol at my head… BANG.

I sat up, opening my eyes. I looked around, and found myself in my room. Was that really all just a dream, it felt pretty real to me. I looked at the hand Lui had shot, but there was no bullet shot, no scar, nothing… just a hand. I curled up into a ball, crying silent tears. I eventually got out of bed, climbing to the roof. I wondered about the dream I had, if it would ever come true. As I reached the roof, I looked up. The moon was out, shining bright as day. As I sat down on the cold, hard tiles, I felt as if this had happened to me before. Almost like… deja vu. “Hey, guess I’m not the only one who enjoys the dark”. I turned my head, I could see Clarity, there was a ring on her finger. I smirked. “So, he’s asked you out or what?” She looked at me, shock and embarressment filled her face. “Faith, haven’t you heard, new recruits have joined, I’m just one of the unlucky ones who needs to share a room with a boy, the ring just hides my true form”. She sat down next to me, wind blowing through her hair.

After sitting on the roof and talking for a bit, I went back down into my room. When I went back through I saw a second bed in my room. I walked over, the closet door was wide open. Yup… deja vu. I looked around…

Chapter 8, Demons within

“Hi… who are you?” I spoke up, making the person jump. She turned around, she had blue and pink hair, bunched up into pigtails. Her eyes were a shade of pastel green, and… she was a demon. She looked into my eyes, cowering down, almost in fear. “H-h-h-hi, I-I’m Cotton, umm… y-your new r-r-roomie”. She sounded scared. “Hey, hey, I’m not that scary… right?” / “No, I-I’m just a bit s-s-s-scared, th-this is all new t-to me”. I looked down at her and smiled, her face was pale, her cheeks were red as cherries. She looked down, hiding her face in shame.

I walked around the mansion, it’s around one o’clock and it’s at this time where it’s quite noisy. Especially today, with all the new people here, everywhere you go, every corner you turn, every step you take… there’s always a person. The only place at the mansion that’s usually empty is the roof, although I did once accidentally walk in on Kat and Masky… I thought I was going to end up falling off in surprise. I idn’t realise that they’re, you know, in a relationship. I walked out the front door, and climbed up to the roof. It was covered in snow and… blood. “How original… blood and snow, wow… so scary,” I said, looking around to try and find who left this. I had no luck, but I did hear footsteps climbing up. I went down to the front, hiding from whoever it was. I wanted to scare them.

“Faith, I know you’re up here, no need to hide”. I heard Jeff’s voice call out, this was going to be lots of fun. I crawled up so I could see him, he was standing up, I crept up as slowly as possible. Then…. “SUP FUCKER!” I jumped up to him, shouting as loud as I could. I ended up jumping on top of him. We both fell over, my tail was shaking so fast I thought it would fly away. “There you are, don’t scare me like that kiddo”. I looked up, trying to meet his gaze. “I’m not a kid anymore… I’m only two months younger than Kat,” I say, playfully punching his shoulder. We sat there for a while, being around Jeff makes me feel… safe. Even if he is a psychotic killer. He wrapped his hand around mine, one thing followed another. The next thing you know, we were kissing.

I’m very screwed… one of the new girls has a mega huge crush on Jeff. That exact girl may or may not have gone to the roof and seen me and him… kissing. “Umm…what the fuck…are you doing…with MY MAN!” She screamed, me and Jeff just looked at her as if she were insane. “Listen kiddo, I’m not yours, I’m my own man”, he said, hugging me tight. I buried my face into his hoodie, trying to hide my embarrassment. I was able to escape his grip and run down to the edge of the roof. I climbed down, and walked through the woods. I tried to clear my mind, but I couldn’t help but feel someone following me. I spun around, the girl was running towards me, pocket knife in hand, ready for the kill. She swung for me, but was clumsy and lost her footing when I dodged. “Actually try to kill me, your style is all sloppy” / “As if you know anything!” I pulled one of my hands out of my pocket and grabbed her wrist with the knife.

She started crying, tears came rolling down her cheeks. “I just wanna be noticed, no one ever cared about me back home!” I put her hand down by her side and let go. “Kid… you’re not the only one with a crap life, we all have something wrong with us, but that’s just what makes us, well… us”, I looked down at her, she was looking up at me, her eyes were almost as wide as dinner plates. Her short, black hair blowing in the wind. She dropped her knife, and ran past me, back to the real world. I followed her. “Don’t worry about it, if they aren’t fit to be one of us, they run back home and their memories here will be wiped from their minds”, I turned around, Jane was leaning against a tree, her eyes looked endless with her mask on. I shivered, I’d left my jumper at home, but I was also scared. How did Jane know all this? Probably because she’d been here longer than me, but still… kind of freaky, right? “Come on, lets go back home”. Home… HOME! She thinks the Slender mansion is HOME! She may have been here longer than me but how could anyone see this house of horrors as a home!?

I followed her, looking down all the way. I started thinking of running away for real, but… would my memories be erased? I’d want them to be, but at the same time… it would be fun to rat them out. I’d miss a few people ‘cough cough’ Jeff ‘cough cough cough’ but I want to be free again. Should I? Could I? Would I?

Chapter 9, Safety

I packed my bag, I could barely stand this hell anymore. What’s got into me? I left the T-shirt on the bed, it’s not mine so I shouldn’t keep it. This isn’t me… I swung my bag onto my back and jumped out of the window, making sure not to wake up Cotton. Help me! I ran, branches and twigs scratching, cutting through my skin. What’s going on! I had almost reached the end… I broke out of my prison. “What am I doing!” I screamed, it felt as if I were being possesed. Someone else was inside of me, maybe I should have said that in a different way… because that sounds dirty as fuck. I collapsed, I missed my real home, but this forest almost seems like home. What do I choose? “Hey, come back, it’s cold outside…” I felt a hand on my shoulder, a raspy voice whisper in my ear.

I fell onto my hands, tears falling to the ground, my body stopped working and I fell completely on the ground. I could feel arms wrap around me, lifting me up, carrying me like a bride. I looked up, but I could barely make anything out. I had a streak of pain in my eyes, as if they’d been impaled. Am I… blind? I tried rubbing my eyes, but whimpered, something sharp was stuck in both my eyes. I was blinded… never to see again. I felt a sharp pain, as the person yanked out one of the twigs. I screamed, as he pulled out the other one. “Hey, hey… does it hurt now?” He asked, whiping the tears from my eyes. I looked up at him, everything was still really blurry, almost impossible to make out anything.

“Wh-who are you… I can’t see anything” / “Wow Faith, you can’t remember my voice”. I closed my eyes again, I wanted to cry, just cry the pain away. My eyes shot open, my feet were touching the ground, my lips against his. His hands going through my hair, mine hugging him back. I know who he is… Jeff… he’s saved me again. I couldn’t help but cry a little, I was always being saved, no one was ever in need of my help… I’m always the useless one. He let go of me, walking back a bit, I was left in the dark. I tried to walk forwards but tripped up on a branch. I was caught by my collar. Lifting me up, he looked into my eyes, they were filled with blood, almost covered completely.

Jeff lifted me onto his back and we went back to the Slender Mansion… back home. When we got back, I heard an extasy of shouting and crying. Then, it all went silent, I hid behind Jeff, holding on tightly to his shoulders. There was a loud cheer, I felt everyone around us. Jeff pushed them aside and went to my room. He sat me down on the bed and I could hear him closing the door. “W-what’s going on..?” I stuttered, I could feel Jeff nearby. My face felt hot, I was really embarressed. I crawled back, but I only went a bit further until I was at the edge. Either I fall off, or let some kinky shit go down… tough choice.

Jeff was right in front of me now, I could feel his breath hot on my neck. I couldn’t see a thing, my eyes were limiting me, but it’s not all bad, it makes surprising things seem more thrilling. He put his hand through my hair, and whispered “This is exciting, isn’t it…”. Suddenly, the door slammed open. “Guys… what the ACTUAL FUCK!” I yelped, falling backwards off the bed, and accidentally kicking Jeff. Ben had opened the door, his shouts were loud enough to draw a crowd. I heard him cursing, as they probably dragged him away, closing the door again.

“Holy shit, that scared me.” I whispered, leaning my back against the edge of the bed. I closed my eyes, and opened them again, hiding myself in my knees. I could hear a quiet thud as Jeff sat down next to me. He put his arms around me, kissing me on the cheek. I turned to face him, and his lips met mine. I fell back almost, I could feel him on top of me. I felt happy for once, my emotions were showing their true colours. I gasped, I could feel him on my neck, it felt… nice. My head tilted back, my face red hot. After… that was done, Jeff got up. He helped me up, hugging me tight.

Chapter 10, What next?

It’s been six months since that happened, and I must admit, things have been going pretty well. My eyes were healed, now no one can sneak up on me now. I’m right now sitting up on the roof, Jeff’s right next to me. “H-hey Faith, can I ask you something” / “Yeah sure, what’s up?” Jeff looked down at me, his face was getting redder and redder. “Would you, possibly, want to, umm… well” He stuttered, I knew what he wanted to say. I hugged him, tightly. “Yeah… sure”. He smiled, hugging me back. I guess we’re a thing now (start the shipping fam). I felt warm inside, when I’m around Jeff, I feel safe… even if he is a psychotic murderer.

I could hear footsteps behind us, but I didn’t care who came up. As long as I was safe in Jeff’s arms, I could get through anything life threw at me. “Umm… Faith, Jeff… there’s a bit of a problem” I turned around, Kat was there, Evilyn with her. We went back inside, to see complete a complete mess. There was shouting, blood, guts and much more. There was some sort of demonic tentacle monster in the middle of the room.

It was Cotton…
