Chapter 4, Zalgo
It’s been two months since the incident. My back’s been stitched up and my arms and legs have fully healed. Now I’m up on the roof, the sunset was always my favourite time of the day. But I keep wondering why Masky kissed me. We’re not dating, and I don’t think he even likes me in that way. But watching the sunset helps me clear my head. Something touches my forehead. I look up and freeze. “What the-”. I black out, I’m highly allergic to lemons, some idiot put a slice on my forehead. I wake up to find myself in a dark room, not tied up, no lights either. I wince as rashes spread all over my body, it felt like they were burning me. I heard the turning of a lock, the door opened. What I saw must have the worst thing I’d ever seen.
“F-father?”
“Oh come on, is that really the way to greet the person who raised you as a child” The pain in my body was becoming unbearable. I screamed for help. Father bent down and, with a few strange words, made my rashes disapear. I sat up, confused. “W-why’d you help me, I-I thought you hated me”. He looked down and laughed. His eyes grew wider and wider, he sounded more and more insane. “Of coarse a fucking hate you! Why do you think I kidnapped you! To have a FUCKING TEA PARTY!” I was terrified,my powers wouldn’t be strong enough to fight him, but I’ve got to try. I start singing.”I pirouette in the dark…” a glowing ring forms around me “I see the stars draw near”. He starts laughing again, but that doesn’t stop me. “Somebody shine a light, I’m frozen by the fear in m-”.
“What’s wrong darling, didn’t you forget, you’re mine”. It was Jacks raspy voice again. Wait, he’s on Zalgo’s side..? I drop to the floor as a searing pain shot through my chest. “That’s right, I’m not on you’re side, but neither are you isn’t that ri-” The door slams open. “HELP ME!” I shout out with what I feel is my last breath.
