Their lies, Her revenge (1)

Chapter 1, Killers in the forest

I was frozen, the wind blowing through my hair. It was cold outside, but I somehow felt warm inside. Running from school was fun, especially with friends. “Faith, where now?” I could hear Ace calling from behind me. His black and blue hair blowing with the wind. I looked around, we were in the middle of the woods with a few supplies. “I’m not sure, maybe we could look for an abandoned house or something”. As we walked around the forest, I felt a sudden tingle down my spine. It’s as if someone was following us.

I turned around. Something was pinning Ace down! It had white skin and black hair, they had a knife in their hand… I couldn’t help but scream. “AAAAAAAAA!” The thing turned around. I think it was a boy. I could see Ace sitting up , he was cut deeply but still holding on. The strange man pounced towards me. I tried to run but he grabbed my collar. “Get off of me you brute!” He threw me to the ground, pinning me down with his foot. “Heh, says the broken barbie doll”. I’d been called many things from asshole to yeti, but broken barbie doll!? This freak had crossed the line.

I pushed his leg… and it stayed in it’s place. This strange man was stronger than he looked. All I could do was lie there and struggle. He raised his knife, “It’s time to go to sleep”, and brought it back down. Blood came spilling out of, like a waterfall of red liquids. I could feel the metallic taste in my mouth, spilling out like Niagra itself. “Jeff, what the fuck are you doing!?” I knew that voice from somewhere, but where..? The blade was removed from me and I sat up. “Where the fuck do I know you you from?” The girl looked at me in shock. Was I forgetting something important? “Faith… did you seriously forget?” Now I’m remembering something. “Aren’t you… Kathrin? That girl from school… everyone says you’ve been murdered…” My words began to slur as my vision began to fade. “Faith… Faith wake up!”

I woke up, startled by what happened. “I’m glad you’re finally wake, thought we’d lost you”, I saw Ace, his chest bandaged up from the cut. I heard footsteps running clumsily up the stairs. I looked at the door, almost expecting an elephant to burst into the room. “She’s awake, she’s alive, this isn’t a joke, right”. I saw Kat ( that’s my nickname for her) peek her head in through the door. Her face looked like a fucking tomato, almost as if she was caught doing something she shouldn’t have done. “No she’s dead, of course she’s alive”, Ace said, a tone rising in his voice. Kat started giggling, what was she up to now? “What, do you have a crush on her now?” Both me and Ace went red in the face.

“Who’s the tomato now mother fuckers!” She ran off, laughing to herself. Ace ran after her, swearing under his breath. I sat up, a little dazed but feeling alright. Then I saw him… Jeff. He walked into the room and leaned on the wall. “Listen kiddo, er, sorry about what happened earlier… umm… glad you’re alive”. He was trying to apologize… in a very strange way. But, it’s not all bad, at least he said sorry. “I-It’s fine, I guess I’m sorry for calling you a brute”. Jeff looked up from the floor, he had cuts on his face as if they were a smile.

“Umm… how’d you get those”. I pointed at the scars. He brushed his fingers over them, a smile on his face. “If you really want to know… I did them myself, quite painful but… you get used to it”. I stared at him as if he was insane. How could someone get used to or even like pain!? It was a bit akward, just silence surrounded the room. I heard a voice call out, “Jeff, get you’re psycho ass over here!” I could hear a sort of glitchy voice coming from down the hall way. Jeff didn’t move, he started smiling. “Jeff, I said, get you’re fucking ass over here!” There it was again, Jeff started to laugh. I could hear angry footsteps.

I sat up straight and looked at the person in the doorway. “Fucking Link, why aren’t you in Zelda!” He looked at me, face going red. I couldn’t tell if he was embarrassed or angry. He turned to look at Jeff, his face wasn’t red anymore. “Jeff… what the fuck,” He started, then started smiling, “I’ve been calling you just to find you flirting with a girl”. He wiggled his eyebrows. I went red in the face, I couldn’t help it. This is one strange group of people.
